From Chronic Pain to Vitality: real stories of Transformation.
The success stories below reflect the journeys of individuals who came to me seeking relief from a wide range of challenges-chronic pain, movement restrictions, fatigue, postural imbalances, and other persistent conditions that conventional approaches often overlook. Each story is a testament to the power of personalised care, holistic strategies, and a commitment to change. Whether it was through restoring nervous system balance, improving hydration and sleep, recalibrating posture, or addressing energetic blocks, these individuals discovered what's possible when the body is given the support it truly needs.
"I first booked in with Will after dislocating my shoulder in 2019. The physio i was working with had me doing some questionable exercises that didn't feel right for my stage of recovery. Will's advice on alternative movements was a game-changer- helping me heal more effectively, move more comfortably, and feel safer in daily life. He saved me from going down a dark hole and gave me light in my hardest moments.
At the time, i was in a lot of pain, both physically and psychologically. Working with Will gave me direction and confidence, knowing that what i was doing had a real purpose and was actually making me better. I had initially tried Physio, but the exercises felt generic and didn't suit where i was in my recovery. Thats when i turned to Will for guidance, and I'm so glad I did.
What stood out to me the most was how Will looks at the big picture- not just the site of pain or injury. He goes back to basics, addressing human foundations and working through different elements of the body to create a comprehensive understanding of what's going on. He builds from the ground up, identifying things I didn't even know were issues. No other practitioner i've seen has taken this approach.
Now, i feel well overall. Small things come up here and there, but Will is always there to help when he can. I truly believe my recovery was significantly enhanced by his advice, and I would' t be where I am today without it.
If you're on the fence about booking, my advice is simple- go for it. Will will help you understand what's really going on with your body, beyond just the symptoms you feel. Let him take a look, and you might be surprised at the strengths and weaknesses he uncovers and helps you with.

I've suffered from migraines for over 15 years. Name a treatment, and chances are, I've tried it- nothing ever brought lasting relief. Migraines robbed me of so many years of my life, and i had honestly started to lose hope. That changed when i started training with Will.
His holistic approach is unlike anything I've experienced- and I've trained with PT's all over the world, from Dublin to Sydney to Brisbane. Will isn't just a personal trainer; he's the best of the best. He truly listens, tailors every session to exactly what your body needs, and cares deeply about long-term results, not just short-term fixes.
Thanks to Will, I'm Stronger, healthier, and-most importantly- I'm finally experiencing relief from migraines in a way i genuinely never thought was possible. I'm living life again!
It's an absolute honour to write this testimonial. If you're looking for someone who deeply understands the body, approaches your health with care and precision, and is committed to helping you achieve real, lasting results- Will is it.

In my 60's, I began noticing changes in my posture during my lunchtime walks - a subtle stoop I didn't want to worsen with age. Seeing a younger colleague with the same issue only reinforced my determination to do something about it. That decision led me to William- and nearly a decade later, I'm still working with him.
Pain wasn't constant, but i had persistent lower back issues from prolapsed discs. Every so often, I'd get sharp, sudden jolt - bad enough to make me collapse if I bent or lifted the wrong way. It had been building over years, gradually worsening, and I had no idea how to manage or improve it.
After a GP referral, I saw a physiotherapist, but the sessions didn't help. I struggled to understand the explanations, and nothing really changed.
From the beginning, William challenged many of my assumptions. I used to think exercise had to hard and fast. I'd try to impress him by moving quickly, but he consistently slowed me down and taught me how to move with awareness and breathe properly and intentionally. That alone was transformative.
Over time, he helped me make real changes to my lifestyle and my overall postural integrity. One breakthrough came with my general stance. I used to stand pigeoned- toed with bowed calves and assumed it was just how i was built - even saying it ran in the family. But William gently guided me through specific exercises that woke up dormant areas and helped me with my realignment of my feet. It wasn't just forcing my feet straight - it was about feeling where they were in space. That new awareness made the change feel natural, not forced. Once i had that, standing with me feet straight just made sense - and i haven't looked back since.
Balance had always been a challenge for me, along with a deep-seated fear of heights. William introduced techniques i didn't fully understand at the time - which I later learned were related to visual field stressors that can dramatically impair coordination and spatial awareness. Before that, I could barely stay upright on a BOSU ball. If William would walk within certain areas whilst I was on it, I didn't realise he was quietly assessing my abilities at the time. I'd just just fall off, and just put it down to my age. But as soon as we had finished with he visual integration work, I could balance with ease - even chatting and laughing at the same time.
He then asked me to walk a straight line and tossed a tennis ball in my direction - I had tried this earlier and was in capable of registering where the ball was. After the visual work - I caught it instantly. That might sound small, but before it was impossible. Something had clearly shifted. It was as if everything - my balance, coordination, and even focus - came together. I hadn't realised how much tension I'd been holding until it started to release.
Working with him has also supported my long-standing anxiety and panic symptoms. I now check in with my breath regularly and have a more compassionate, connected relationship with my body. My posture is upright, my walking is steady, and i feel more grounded - physically and emotionally.
At 73, I'm moving really well. I'm walking with strength and breathing more freely than I have in years. My whole outlook on movement and ageing has changed - I feel more empowered, more confident, and far more in tune with my body.
Don't expect William to follow a standard formula - and that's exactly what makes him so effective. He thinks outside the box, approaches things with care and creativity, and really really knows his stuff. He's proactive, gentle, and incredibly thorough.
If you're open to change, You'll definitely find it with him.

William has been training me for over 5 years now, and I honestly can't imagine stopping. I first came to him because I wanted to move more efficiently and feel more coordinated - I used to be quite clumsy, and I knew I could be better in my body. Over time, his training has become my anchor for staying strong, agile, and pain free in life that's otherwise sedentary at a desk all day.
Before working with Will, constant mouse use left me with nagging pain in my right forearm and shoulder that plagued me even when I wasn't at my desk. I'd put up with it for years - now it's completely gone.
I also love to snowboard and run, and the work we do directly feeds into those passions. Snowboarding in the icy terrain we get in Australia demands strength and agility. Time and again, I've felt Will's training paying me back when I've been able to hold on and stay in control in tricky situations.
What's kept me with Will all these years is his dedication to learning and evolving. Every session feels tailored - whether I'm coming back from an injury or preparing for my next big ski trip, He always knows how to take me from recovery to peak performance. Training with Will isn't just exercise; It's the best investment I make every week for my body and my life.

In my mid- fifties, I had very specific needs when it came to finding the right trainer. I wasn't looking for someone to push me like a 25 -year-old, but I also didn't want to feel like I was holding back.
Will struck the perfect balance. He kept me engaged with sessions that were both enjoyable and varied, adapting around any aches or niggles i had. I felt supported in building strength, improving my posture, and moving with more confidence and ease.
Even the small things - like helping me understand how nutrition and energy affect my progress - made a big difference.
I always left feeling stronger, never drained. Will is thoughtful, professional, and wise beyond his years. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone wanting to feel and move better at any age.

Before I started working with Will, I was dealing with shoulder pain, digestive issues, and poor sleep. These were affecting not only my training but also my day-to-day energy and wellbeing.
Will introduced me to a completely different approach - one that addressed the root of these issues. With his guidance, I worked on balancing more exercise routine, that harmonised towards a greater postural shift and a neural adaptation that not only made me stronger but eased my pain and became a natural way of how to exercise. He also helped me make small but powerful shifts in how to eat and lifestyle factors. which improved my digestion and sleep far more than I expected.
What sets Will apart is his depth of knowledge and how he applies it. He tailors his approach to suit each person, no matter their goals or challenges, and helps tham achieve more than they thought possible.
I'm grateful of the difference Will has made - not just in my training but in how i feel overall. He's a gifted trainer and a genuinely great guy to work with.
